About the scholarship

An $8,000 Scholarship to support domestic BA(Hons) or MA students majoring in Philosophy. The Scholarship was established in 2024 in memory of Professor Robert Nola and his contribution to the discipline of Philosophy and the University of Auckland. Professor Nola was a staunch advocate and exemplar of the value of philosophical reasoning and analysis in all areas of thought. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support and encourage sub-doctoral postgraduate study in Philosophy at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
