About the scholarship
A Prize for the student who achieved the highest grade in ENGSCI 700 in Engineering Science. This Prize was established in 1988 to honour the outstanding contribution made by Cecil Segedin to the University as a whole, and especially to the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics which he headed from its inception in 1963 until his retirement in 1980. The purpose of the Prize is to encourage the pursuit of excellence in Engineering Science.
