About the scholarship

A Scholarship of up to $5,000 for full-time enrolment in a BA or BA conjoint degree for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. The Scholarship was established in 2019 and is funded by the estate of Dr Alison Hanham, an alumna of the University of Auckland and former Associate Professor in History at Massey University, Palmerston North. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Arts conjoint degree students, particularly those in the School of Humanities, who are enrolling in the first year of their degree, and who are experiencing financial hardship.
