University of Auckland Malaysian Accommodation Award

A $5,000 Award to assist an international student from Malaysia with the costs of accommodation in a Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland Hall of Residence. The Award was established in 2024 by funds received from Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland Malaysian alumni and friends communities. The main purpose of the Award is to support students from Malaysia who have achieved academically and wish to study at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland but for whom the cost of accommodation would be a barrier to accessing tertiary education.
