Julia Metcalfe Award in Medical Imaging

An Award of $2,500 to support a PGDipHSc or MHSc (Taught) in Ultrasound student to attend conferences or observerships, or to undertake further study. The Award was established in 2019 and is funded by ADHB Radiology and the Department of Anatomy and Medical Imaging at the University of Auckland. The Award is in memory of Julia Metcalfe, a committed and passionate sonographer who dedicated her life to patients and the education of sonography trainees. The main purpose of the Award is to support students who have successfully completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences specialising in Ultrasound, or a Master of Health Sciences (Taught) including Ultrasound courses, to attend conferences and/or participate in observerships overseas or locally, or to assist with further study.
