About the scholarship
An $8,000 Award to support women students enrolling in a masters degree. The Award was established in 1996 and is funded by the Kate Edger Foundation. The main purpose of the Award is to assist women graduates to carry out study for a masters degree at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The Award is intended for students studying full-time towards a qualification; however, the Trustees recognise that health conditions or impairments can limit a person's ability to study full-time and have extended the Award in 2023 to include part-time study on a case-by-case basis.
Entry requirements
Must be a woman enrolling in a master's degree. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply. All sections (including request sections) must be completed by the closing date, which is midnight on the specified date (unless stated otherwise). Outcomes are determined by a selection committee and are usually notified around eight weeks after the closing date. For more details, refer to the Regulations for the Kate Edger Foundation - Masters Degree Award.
