About the scholarship
An Award to assist male students who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolling in the New Start programme. The Award was established in 2019 by Sean Joyce and Danielle LeGallais, and is named after their son, James LeGallais. The main purpose of the Award is to assist male students enrolled in the New Start Programme at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Entry requirements
Must be a male student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident enrolling in the New Start programme. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply. Outcomes are determined by a selection committee and are usually notified around eight weeks after the closing date. For more details, refer to the Regulations for the James LeGallais New Start Award.
