About the scholarship
An Award to assist primary care clinicians who are New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents with the tuition fees for one or more postgraduate courses relevant to primary care. The Award was established in 2023 and is funded by the Goodfellow Foundation to commemorate the late Dr Bruce Goodfellow, former Chairman of the Goodfellow Foundation, who wished to inspire younger primary care clinicians and trainees to see the pleasure and value in further academic study in primary care. The intention of the Award is to encourage and support primary care clinicians and trainees (general practitioners, registrars, nurse practitioners, primary care nurses, palliative care nurse, community pharmacists and other primary care clinicians and trainees) to undertake postgraduate study in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
