About the scholarship
It is financed from funds donated by Dr Yash Ghai, Robb Lecturer at the University of Auckland in 2007, by legal colleagues and friends of Judge Williams, and by the Williams whānau. The main purpose of the Award is to recognise cultural involvement and academic merit at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland by graduating law students of New Zealand Māori descent.
