Grace Phillips Memorial Award

An Award to support a final year BAdvSci(Hons), BSc(Hons) or MSc student pursuing a research programme in Chemistry, Green Chemical Science or Medicinal Chemistry. The Award was established in 1942 for assistance to Chemistry students in their Master of Science year, as a memorial to the late Mrs Stanley Phillips, by her sister, Mrs E Ayling of Auckland. In 1997 the regulations were amended so that students proceeding to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) were also eligible, and in 2021 so that students proceeding to the final year of the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) were also eligible.
