About the scholarship
A Prize for the Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science student who demonstrated the highest level of excellence in holistic nursing care and teamwork in their final clinical placement. The Prize was established in 2009 by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, with amendments made in 2022 to reflect contemporary Nursing Practice. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise the student from the Bachelor of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science programmes, who has demonstrated the highest level of excellence in holistic nursing care and teamwork, including demonstration of Te Toka Tumai values, culminating in an excellent performance during the final clinical placement at Te Toka Tumai.
Entry requirements
No application required. Awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
