About the scholarship

A $2,000 Award to support women who have completed a University of Auckland Foundation Programme and are enrolling in a degree programme. The Award was established in 2016 and is funded by the Kate Edger Foundation. The main purpose of the Award is to assist women students who have successfully completed an approved University of Auckland Foundation Programme to undertake full-time study in an undergraduate degree programme at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The Award is intended for students studying full-time towards a qualification; however, the Trustees recognise that health conditions or impairments can limit a person's ability to study full-time and have extended the Award in 2023 to include part-time study on a case-by-case basis.

Entry requirements

Women graduates of a full-time 120 Point Foundation Programme who are enrolling in their first undergraduate degree in the following year. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply. Then click on the “Apply now” button and complete the online application form. We recommend you check the form early in case a reference or endorsement is required to support your application, and to familiarise yourself with the form. All sections (including request sections) must be completed by the closing date, which is midnight on the specified date (unless stated otherwise). We recommend you do not have two different scholarship applications open within the same browser.
