Kate Edger Foundation - First Year Doctoral Award

Awards of up to $11,000 each to support women students enrolled in the first year of a PhD or named Doctorate. The Award was established in 2015 and is funded by the Kate Edger Foundation. The main purpose of the Award is to assist women graduates currently enrolled in their first year of full-time study at the University of Auckland towards a PhD or named Doctorate. The Award is intended for students studying full-time towards a qualification; however, the Trustees recognise that health conditions or impairments can limit a person's ability to study full-time and have extended the Award in 2023 to include part-time study on a case-by-case basis.
