About the scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $10,000 per annum for up to three years for a Māori student enrolled in either a BAdvSci(Hons), BCom or BSc in technology related specialisations. The Scholarship was established in 2023 and is funded by Waste Management NZ Ltd, a leading materials recovery, recycling and waste management provider. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support Māori students to succeed in their undergraduate studies in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Information Systems and to support their future career aspirations.
Entry requirements
Must be a Māori student enrolled in BAdvSci(Hons), BCom, or BSc in technology related specialisations. Please read the Regulations for the Waste Management NZ - Taumata Hangarau Technology Scholarship carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply.
