About the scholarship
An Award to assist a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident enrolled in Part II and III of a BE(Hons) to attend a study and research placement with McLaren Racing at the McLaren Technology Centre, UK. The Award was established in 2022 with generous support from the UK Friends of the University of Auckland (UK) and supported from 2023 onwards by the NZ-UK Link Foundation (UK), the Bruce McLaren Trust (NZ) and other donors. The main purpose of the Award is to provide an international experience of up to ten weeks for a Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student to travel to the United Kingdom to participate in a study and research placement with McLaren Racing based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England.
Entry requirements
Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident enrolled in Part II or III of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible to apply. Outcomes are determined by a selection committee and are usually notified around eight weeks after the closing date.
