About the scholarship
A Prize for the most original, creative and interdisciplinary research essay on photography or photographic practices in an Art History course. The Prize was established in 2019 and was funded by Dianna Sutherland in memory of her late husband. Dudley Freeman had a lifelong passion for photography as a way of observing and communicating with the world. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward the student who has written the most original, creative and interdisciplinary research essay on photography or photographic practices in an Art History course.
