Excel Digital Māori and Pacific Publishing Scholarship
Scholarship details
| Value | Excel Digital will contribute $2,000 towards course fees for one student for one year. Payment will be made directly towards the tuition fees of the successful applicant.Subject to agreement by both parties, Excel Digital will also provide two weeks of paid practical work experience to the successful applicant to give them a hands-on understanding of the printing process |

About the scholarship
To reduce barriersto equity and diversity, and to increase inclusivity in publishing in Aotearoa by assisting a Māori or Pacific student to study the Graduate Diploma in Publishing at Whitireia and WelTec.

Entry requirements
Applicants must:Be a New Zealand citizen or have New Zealand permanent residency.Be commencing their study in the year specified in the application.Meet the programme entry requirements by having enrolled and been accepted onto the Graduate Diploma in Publishing offered by Whitireia and WelTec.Identify as Māori or Pacific.Note: If no applicant in any given year meets the above criteria, the administrators may, at their discretion, award the scholarship to a student reflecting Aotearoa’s diverse population
