Whitireia is a wholly-owned Crown entity subsidiary company of NZIST, known for its high student success rate and culturally diverse student body. Established in 1986, Whitieria has grown to become a highly respectable Tertiary Institution in Wellington, Porirua and Auckland.
We have highly-skilled teaching and support staff who work hard to support you every step of the way, with over 200 programmes of study covering masters, postgraduates, degree, diploma and certificate levels along with a number of short courses.

Campuses
Porirua Campus
The Porirua Campus is where Whitireia began and continues to offer a number of community-driven courses. Located just 20 minutes from Wellington City, the Porirua Campus is one of New Zealand's most beautiful sites for a tertiary institution.
Te Kāhui Auaha Campus
Te Kāhui Auaha is our creative campus that opened in 2018. Located right in the heart of Wellington City, situated on the corner of Cuba Street and Dixon Street, it’s just around the corner from Wellington's best-loved bars, venues, restaurants, shops, and attractions. Te Kāhui Auaha facilities include two theatres, 55 seater cinema, exhibition gallery and a performance studio.
