The WIDE Trust is a charitable organisation that was founded in 2018. The focus of the WIDE Trust is on supporting development and education in the forestry and wood industry sectors, and it offers grants and scholarships for tertiary education, including for postgraduate studies. As such, the WIDE Trust sponsored this design competition to promote timber design at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury.
