UC Takere Scholarship (School-Leaver Scholarship)

Applications open 20 June 2022 and close 15 August 2022.The UC Takere Scholarship supports M?ori and Pacific students to successfully transition and flourish in university study and life at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury. The award is based on reciprocity and commitment for the successful participants, as well as for the University.MaoriValue/Benefits:a. Financial assistance at a value of $1,000, paid as a fortnightly allowance of $400 during the Takere Academy (5 weeks);b. Takere Academy, inclusive of free catered accommodation in a student hall of residence, for five weeks, to assist the transition to university life; andc.
