About the scholarship

This scholarship recognises outstanding performance in MATH 199, the STAR course at Te Kura P?ngarau | School of Mathematics and Statistics of Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury, and supports students majoring in Applied Data Science, Computational and Applied Mathematical Sciences, Data Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics at the University. . Value/Benefits: Financial assistance at a value of $5,000 per annum for three years Level of Study: School Leaver (First year undergraduate) Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 1 November (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date.) Tenure: Three years Number Available Annually: Three Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment which includes at least 60 points per academic year of taught courses that contribute to a degree programme with a major in:? Applied Data Science; or ? Computational and Applied Mathematical Sciences; or ? Data Science; or ? Financial Engineering; or ? Mathematics; or ? StatisticsCitizenship/Residency Requirements: Not applicableSpecial Requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in the STAR course offered by Te Kura P?ngarau | School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University (MATH 199).
