About the scholarship

The goal of the UC Foundation Doctoral Publication Scholarship is to encourage students to publish their work in leading peer-reviewed publications, indexed in Scopus, during their doctoral studies (e.g., journal articles, book chapters, monographs, or conference proceedings). Publication during the tenure of Doctoral studies enhances student?s employment prospects and, for UC, contributes to the enhancement of international university rankings.Value/Benefits:$1,000 for articles in journals ranked in quartile 1 (Q1) in Scimago; or$500 for articles in journals ranked in quartiles 2, 3 and 4 (Q2, Q3, Q4) in Scimago, and for other publication types indexed by Scopus (e.g., book chapter, monograph, or conference proceeding).Level of Study: DoctoralClosing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 31 December Number Available Annually: Varies Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: DoctoralCitizenship/Residency Requirements: Not applicableFor more information, please click on the award name above.
