Shirtcliffe Fellowship

The purpose of the Shirtcliffe Fellowship is to assist New Zealand university graduates of outstanding ability and character in the continuation of their studies in New Zealand or the Commonwealth.Value/Benefits: Financial assistance at a value of $5,000 per annum (May be held for up to three years).Level of Study: Doctoral.Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 1 April (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date).Tenure: Three years.Number Available Annually: One.Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: Open to New Zealand university graduates planning to register or be currently registered as a doctoral candidate at a university in New Zealand or other Commonwealth country.Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Applicants must be New Zealand citizens and ordinarily reside in New Zealand.For more information, please read the regulations for this award: Click here.
