About the scholarship
This scholarship supports University of Canterbury students who are majoring in French, to participate in the University?s Student Exchange Programme at one of the University?s partner institutions in France.Level of Study: Undergraduate, Honours, Masters Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 31 March and 11:59 pm (NZT) 15 October (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date) Tenure: One semester or two semesters Number available annually: Two Applicable enrolment during tenure: French major for a BA, BA(Hons), or Part I of an MA at the University of Canterbury in conjunction with any programme at a French Reciprocal Exchange Partner Institution of the University of Canterbury Citizenship/residency requirements: Applicants must be citizens of New Zealand or holders of New Zealand residence class visasSpecial requirements: Applicants must have completed FREN 222 French Language Acquisition: Intermediate B (or equivalent) with a grade of B or higher.
