About the scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to enable the children of KiwiRail's permanent employees to undertake a first undergraduate degree or diploma at a New Zealand university, polytechnic, or college of education. This scholarship is offered by Universities New Zealand and applications can be made on their website by following the link. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final. If, in its opinion no applicant of sufficient merit has applied for the award in any year, then no award will be made in that year.
