Helen Macmillan Brown Bursary (School-Leaver Scholarship)

In 1974, after the Hall closed, the bursary was opened to women at any hall administered by the University. By 1990, only University Hall was still administered by the University, and the regulations were changed to restrict tenure to women residing at that hall. In 2015 the bursary was revised to allow more awards, for a shorter tenure, and to open the bursaries to women at any residential hall or village recognised as affiliated with the University.EFTS means “Equivalent Full Time Student” and 1.00 EFTS is equal to 120 points in the University credit system. The bursary will be paid pro rata if the recipient is enrolled for less than 1.00 EFTS. The maximum payment will be $2,500 in total.
