It replaces the Frank P S Lu Prize in Business Management, which the widow of Frank Lu established in 1990 in memory of Professor Lu. Professor Lu taught in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University from 1958 to 1970, and from 1973 to 1984 he was the University?s Sir James Fletcher Professor of Business Administration.
