The purpose of the scholarship is to assist New Zealand law graduates to commence postgraduate study in Law at the University of Oxford. This scholarship is offered by Universities New Zealand and applications can be made on their website by following the link below.Value/Benefits: Financial assistance with the costs associated with university study, to a value of $10,000 Level of Study: Postgraduate Closing Date: 28 February (NZT) (via the UNZ website)Tenure: One year Number Available Annually: One Applicable Enrolment During Tenure Postgraduate study in Law at Oxford Citizenship/Residency Requirements: Must be a citizen of New Zealand, or hold a New Zealand residence class visa For more information, or to apply, click here.The FMB Reynolds Scholarship in Law to Oxford has been established to recognise the support that Emeritus Professor Francis Reynolds, Worcester College, Oxford has provided to New Zealand law students at the University of Oxford for over 40 years.Professor Reynolds was on the Faculty of Law from 1958 to 2000 as one of Oxford?s principal teachers in commercial law subjects. He has been the editor of the Law Quarterly Review since 1987, and is an author of, inter alia, Bowstead & Reynolds on Agency, Chitty on Contracts, Benjamin?s Sale of Goods, and (with Sir Guenter Treitel) Carver on Bills of Lading.The funds for this scholarship have been made available through generous donations from Emeritus Professor Reynolds, Professor Peter Watts and alumni of various law schools.
