About the scholarship

The plan is designed to enrich the intellectual life of all countries in the Commonwealth by enabling a number of its promising students to share in the wide range of educational resources available throughout the Commonwealth and thus promote the equality of educational opportunity at the highest level. The plan aims to make awards available to people of high intellectual promise who are undertaking doctoral studies and are expected to make a significant contribution to life in their own countries on their return from study abroad.This scholarship is available through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the UK.
