About the scholarship
A Scholarship of up to $5,000 for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents enrolled in Part II, III or IV of an LLB or LLB(Hons) or associated conjoint degree.
The Scholarship was established in 2020 and is funded by a group of alumni of the Auckland Law School who have been appointed Queen’s Counsel.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support undergraduate Law students who have achieved academically, but who are experiencing hardships or who may have been disadvantaged due to their personal circumstances.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Entry requirements
To take up and be paid the Scholarship, the candidate must be enrolled full-time in Part II, III or IV of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LLB(Hons)) or associated conjoint degree in the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland. The Scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.
