About the scholarship
A $10,000 Scholarship for full-time enrolment in the final year of a BSc or a BAdvSci(Hons) in Computer Science by NZ citizens and permanent residents.

Entry requirements
The Scholarship may be offered to students currently enrolled full-time in Stage II of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or BSc conjoint programme or Year Three of a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) (BAdvSci(Hons)) or BAdvSci(Hons)) conjoint programme in Computer Science, in courses related to software development, for use in their studies in the following year. The Scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand. The basis of selection will be academic merit and a personal statement outlining the candidate’s potential to contribute to software development in New Zealand. A grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 5.00 (4.50 for Maori and Pacific candidates) is required for Scholarship consideration. Short-listed candidates may be required to attend an interview (see Note I).
