About the scholarship
An Award to assist a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident enrolled in any year of an MBChB degree who is experiencing financial need.

Entry requirements
To take up and be paid the Award the candidate must be enrolled and have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in any year of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree (MBChB), in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland. The Scholarship is tenable by students who are citizens and permanent residents of New Zealand. The basis of selection will be academic merit and demonstrated financial need. Successful applicants will have a grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00 (equivalent to a B+ average) (see Notes I-II).
