About the scholarship

An Award to support international and domestic undergraduate and postgraduate music students to undertake a special project in organ studies.

The Award was established in 2018 and is funded by Graeme Edwards.

The main purpose of the Award is to support talented organ students to undertake a special project -such as participating in a competition, master-class, summer-school or other activities, in New Zealand or overseas - that falls outside their degree studies.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.

Up to $8,000 in total

Entry requirements

The Award may be made to a full-time or part-time student enrolled in a Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music conjoint degree, a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Music, Master of Music or Doctor of Musical Arts in the School of Music at the University of Auckland, who is undertaking studies in organ. The Award is tenable by domestic and international students.
