About the scholarship
Training grants are available to help with the cost of employees taking part in specific NZQA training.
The grant can only be used for approved qualifications which are set by the MoH. Who can apply Disability Support Service (DSS) providers, who hold a contract with the Ministry of Health. Approved Disabled People’s Organisations (DPO’s) that are part of the DPO coalition. People receiving Individualised Funding (IF). People from Mid Central who are registered as part of the system transformation rollout.

What you receive

Entry requirements
As well as complying with our Grant Terms and Conditions
Participants must be:
Paid employees of a Ministry of Health funded DSS provider, an approved DPO or employed through Ministry of Health funded DSS individualised funding agents or from the Mid Central who are registered on the system transformation roll out. Employed in a role that has significant interaction with disabled people New Zealand citizens or hold permanent resident status Supported by their employer to participate in the course Eligible to enrol in the approved NZQA course.
