About the scholarship
Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi was opened in 1992 and officially became a Wananga in 1997. Awanuiarangi is one of only three institutions designated as Wananga under the Education Act 1989
How To Apply
Applications are to be made on Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi Scholarship Application Forms.Applications are to be made on the Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi 2016 Scholarship Application Form. Additional information: Valued at $15,000 each including GST. This scholarship will be credited towards paying the full fees of the successful applicant’s final year of study and credited directly into their fees account. The remaining balance will be transferred to Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi research account to manage.Allocation of any remaining funds to the successful applicants must be based on two milestone and progress reports completed by their designated supervisor.
Entry requirements
Recipients are to be selected on the following criteria:Full-time enrolment in a doctoral degree programme at Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi by 28 February 2016.Provision of previous academic results which may include results from other tertiary programmes in relevant Bachelor and Masters Degrees. Provision of a copy of Approved Doctoral Research Proposal.Provision of a Doctoral Research Committee and Ethics Approval Letter.Provision of a supporting letter from applicant’s supervisor.
