About the scholarship
The Scholarship was established in 2016 and is funded by the University of Auckland.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to recognise and reward exceptional academic performance combined with outstanding sporting, artistic, cultural and / or leadership achievements among Pacific students. The provision of University accommodation is designed to provide the best student experience and promote excellent academic outcomes.

Scholarship applications will usually open around six weeks before the closing date. Please read the regulations carefully to be sure you are eligible before you apply.
What you receive
$20,000 paid over 3 years, comprising a guaranteed funded place in University of Auckland catered accommodation in the first year and four lump sum payments in the second and third years (see Regs.2 and 3)
Entry requirements
You need a minimum NCEA rank score of 240 (obtained from study in Year 12) to qualify for consideration. This is equivalent to a CIE rank score of 300 or an IB predicted score of 32.
