Fairfield Intermediate School

We are a multicultural school of almost 600 students situated in Fairfield, Hamilton. 

Our staff are committed to providing programmes of excellence for all of our students and to offer them challenging experiences. This includes offering a comprehensive Options curriculum programme run concurrently with our Academy programme so all students are given the opportunity for enrichment or extension through either of these programmes. 

At Fairfield Intermediate we also offer significant opportunities for student leadership across the school providing challenges and learning for students from within a safe and secure environment.

As a school we strive to develop programmes that engage our students and enrich their learning. We offer a substantial range of unique features including:

Academy programmes which include Arts, Sports, Science and Technology, Hospitality, Academic, Digital and Leadership.

Our school-wide focus on the four virtues:Courtesy, Courage, Co-operation and Commitment which are the foundation stones of our behavioural programme.

A vast variety of EOTC (Education outside the Classroom) experiences for children to engage in.

The two years at Fairfield Intermediate School are an exciting and challenging time where students begin to develop, grow and change. We specialise in this emerging adolescent age group.
