The New Zealand Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre (NZAGRC) has shaped and managed science and research programmes that have taken mitigation research forward globally.
Our networks, built over the last thirteen years are extensive and able to be used to take our work forward. Our deep knowledge of the current state of mitigation research in New Zealand and globally is able to help shape future research.
Innovative, ambitious, and collaborative researchers are critical for driving research to reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions in New Zealand. NZAGRC provides funding within our core research programmes and, via dedicated programmes to support high-quality students and early-career researchers. A strong pipeline of capability is critical to get GHG emissions reduction tools into the hands of farmers.
