About the provider

Welcome to Bridge International College, New Zealand’s specialist language school for academic pathways and university entry.

We are located in heart of Auckland, New Zealand’s biggest city. With beautiful scenery, great beaches, harbours and islands all at an arm’s reach, there’s plenty to explore! We pride ourselves on the small size of our school and individual classes, as we strive to provide a personalised learning environment. Our students come from different backgrounds and with varying levels of English. Bridge International College is part of the ICL Education Group, which provides our students with the opportunity to continue their studies within the partnering schools.

Bridge’s flagship programme is the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL). The NZCEL Level 4 is recognized by all NZ universities as meeting the normal undergraduate degree English entry level. And the NZCEL Level 5 is recognized by all NZ universities as meeting the normal postgraduate degree English entry level. The programmes are 16 weeks long, with start dates throughout the year, and students can enrol in face-to-face classes in Auckland or online offshore.

Bridge is also one of only two schools currently approved to deliver the English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment (APA). The APA is accepted by all NZ universities as meeting their entry level at foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate levels.

Founded over 20 years ago, Bridge is situated in the heart of the Auckland CBD, in the ICL Education Centre, alongside its partner schools Auckland English Academy and ICL Graduate Business School. Most NZCEL graduates progress to ICL’s diplomas and master’s degrees.
