Our values as a school centre on those symbolised in our school crest. The lion represents courage -having the strength of character to be the very best one can be, recognising the responsibility we have to stand for what is right and good.

The star represents excellence - the virtue of arete, of striving to be the very best one can be, in every part of our journey. The sash, through the middle of the crest, represents the love and care we must feel for each other, and which we must demonstrate through our focus on service to others.

Our school also provides excellent support for students who need additional help with their learning. Ranked 6th in New Zealand for NZQA scholarship results in 2023, we also have 136 sports teams across 36 different codes, over 33 clubs, and 5 musical groups with nationally recognized musicians. Our diverse school community comprises of over 60 nationalities and we offer 8 ESOL classes (English Language Learning) classes for beginner level through to students preparing for IELTS.
