Forest View High School is fortunate to be part of the Tokoroa community. We are a beautiful blend of all the cultural richness Tokoroa has to offer and we take this and add it to our school culture where we encourage and support each other to dream big! Students are always challenged to think about their pathways through and after school. Our size enables us to create unique opportunities for our students because we know them all as individuals.
We are building on a strong tradition of caring for our young people and providing a huge range of opportunities. We are changing our structure to enable us to provide a significant adult for each of our students who knows them as learners and will be their first point of contact within our school. This is part of us caring about the wellbeing of our students and aiming to remove some of the anxiety many young people face navigating their way through high school. Visitors are always welcome to our school and we encourage you before making decisions about the secondary education of your child to come in, meet us and have a school tour.

Forest View HIgh School sits in a fabulous location on the edge of town in a rural setting. We were opened in 1974 and have a really unique design of school which represents this time. Our facilities are excellent and we enjoy collaborating with other schools and our wider community to ensure our students have the best opportunities and people guiding them on their journey through school.
