About the provider
WILSS is a charitable trust delivering a range of programmes to enhance personal development and help build better leaders in the community, in the volunteer sector and the workplace.
Our organisation is registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and our certificates are nationally recognised.
Since 1989 we have built a reputation for providing a supportive learning environment, first class facilitators and industry contacts across New Zealand. We have strong relationships with key organisations, ensuring our participants benefit from industry experience, practical skill application and the development of employment networks.
WILSS has active working partnerships with the University of Waikato, Sport Waikato, Skills Active, NZQA and other leading industry groups.
After more than 30 year of service in the community we feel very proud to be providing volunteer and leadership education to the changing communities of Aoteaoroa New Zealand.
From November 2019 we are trading as Waikato Institute for Leadership & Sport Studies
Campuses
Hamilton Campus - WILSS
The classroom is in TTH3 building and the office is in TTH2 building. Both buildings are on the University of Waikato Campus on the corner of Ruakura Road and Silverdale Road. Parking is at Gate 3a on SiverdaleRoad.
