About the course
This 20 week programme is aimed at
individuals who are interested in a career in welding and wish to enter the
industry as professional welders.
The Level 3 course
offers entry level learners the opportunity to learn all the various
aspects and applications of welding theory and practice as well as health and
safety.
Cost / Fees:
- Fees Free: Free, if you are eligible.
- StudyLink: is also available if needed.
- Self Funding:
- Level 3 - $4334.64
- Level 4 - $4892.98
Entry requirements
- No previous welding experience needed.
- All Students must be 16 years of age or over.
- All Students must have NCEA Level 1
- Applicants must be fit and able to carry out the physical requirements of the welding industry.
- Applicants should have a desire to pathway onto further study or start a career.
- Students must have successfully completed the Level 3 course before starting the Level 4 course.
*This course is not available to international students.

We are an NZQA approved Category 1 training provider.
At our state-of-the-art Welding Training Centre near the CBD in Christchurch, New Zealand, we train both Domestic and International Students.
