About the course
Be prepared for successful practice in visual arts/design through the development of a spirit of open and intelligent enquiry, understanding of the principles and elements of visual language and acquisition of specialist knowledge in chosen field of study.
Entry requirements
14 credits NCEA level 3 in each of 3 subjects, (1 in art/design & 1 in English) OR equiv. training/experience OR foundation art prog. (eg NMIT Cert in Visual Arts and Design); AND portfolio. IELTS 6 or equiv. for applicants with English as a 2nd language.
