Graduates can demonstrate advanced knowledge of a field of forestry science; apply and communicate effectively forestry principles and concepts; understand, evaluate, access and review critically, new information (including findings and discussions in the literature); engage in rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem solving; work independently; carry out research, write a composite report and communicate effectively concepts, results, and conclusions. Completion of this degree can lead to professional employment or the possibility of doctoral study.
