About the course

The programme will allow students to: Gain skills and knowledge that are directly relevant to working or further training in the Plumbing, Gasfitting, Drainlaying or Roofing sectors; Demonstrate knowledge and skills to standards recognised by the industry sector as appropriate; Develop work habits and practice appropriate for further training and employment in the Plumbing, Gasfitting, Drainlaying or Roofing sectors.

Entry requirements

C grade or better in any 3 School Certificate subjects, preference is given to English, Maths, Science, Tech Drawing and Engineering Shop work, OR Equivalent achievement in NCEA: A minimum of 12 credits at Level 1 in both numeracy and literacy is required.
