About the course
Graduates of the Diploma in Adventure Tourism programme will have the technical skills and theoretical knowledge to operate as a junior guide in an adventure tourism company in their chosen specialty. They will be able to consolidate skills in industry and be assessed by the relevant industry group to reach industry guide certification levels in order to seek employment as tramping guides; glacier guides; rafting/kayaking guides; climbing instructors or ski or snowboard instructors.
