About the course

Graduates of this programme will have demonstrated the ability to employ safe working practices appropriate to the retail and distribution sector, service customers, respond to customer complaints, create displays, prepare a float and reconcile sales, give and receive feedback.

 

They will be able to demonstrate knowledge of industry principles, as well as a range of complementary generic, communication and business skills.

Entry requirements

Preferably 16 years of age with four years secondary education.  An aptitude for work in the retail and distribution sector so as to enhance likelihood of successful completion of the programme.  Current employment in the retail and/or wholesale industry is required. Mature students 20 years of age or over at commencement of programme are welcome to apply.
