About the course

You'll gain a strong practical grounding in Biomedical Science through case-based, hands-on learning that shows how molecular and cellular discoveries become medical advances. Your biomedical studies will be enhanced with complementary Science courses that broaden your skills, enrich your learning experience – and prepare you to be a key player in the health sector. The degree offers direct entry from Year 1 into Year 2 clinical programmes, with strong preparation for postgraduate clinical and research pathways in New Zealand and overseas.
