About the course
Learn to navigate the pedagogical, social, and ethical complexities of AI and digital technologies in education with the Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Education at UC.
Designed for teachers, educational leaders, learning designers, learning support professionals and other education practitioners, this diploma explores foundational theories in AI literacy, digital pedagogy, learning design, and educational innovation, preparing educators who can critically evaluate and apply AI-informed approaches within Aotearoa New Zealand and global educational contexts.
Through compulsory and elective courses in topics including leadership, special education, literacy education, and ethics you will learn to design, adapt, and implement AI-enabled and digitally supported lessons, assessments, and learning activities that support learner agency, inclusion, and equitable participation.
Entry requirements
To be accepted into the Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Education, you must hold an Aotearoa New Zealand bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification, with at least a B grade average.
